WHO WE ARE
KAM is a non-profit women's arts patronage group founded in California. For the past 20 years, KAM has been dedicated to supporting Korean culture and arts through grantmaking, networking and promotion, education programs, and community outreach.
KAM's Mission

KAM's Programs and Activities
• Grantmaking: KAM provides grants to support Korean artists' projects, Korean-related exhibition programs, and other initiatives.
• Networking and Promotion: KAM provides networking opportunities for artists and promotes Korean arts through various channels.
• Education Programs: KAM offers educational programs and workshops on Korean arts and culture.
• Emerging Artist Support: KAM supports emerging Korean artists through grants and mentorship opportunities.
• Community Events: KAM sponsors arts-related community events.

KAM's Recent Activities
• Annual $10,000 donation to the Korean Department of LACMA
• Co-hosting the K-documentary film "Nam June Paik" with KCCLA
• Providing KAM Artist Fund grants to 11 artists facing difficulties during the pandemic
• Sponsoring the "Diaspora Arirang" exhibition exploring the identity of Korean diaspora artists
• Donating $5,000 to the "Color of Korea" exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA)
• Sponsoring $3000 to the ROAR Festival (Korean National Music Festival)
• Organizing charity bazaars to raise funds for artist support
• $3000 Granting annual Artist Annual Awards
• Providing exhibition support and grants through museum/gallery docent tours and artist studio visits
• Offering art classes, lectures, and art & cultural forums
• Hosting fundraising events, field trips, and community service programs
KAM's Long-Term Goal
KAM's long-term goal is to establish a Korean American Museum. This museum will be a dedicated cultural space to showcase the works of Korean American artists and promote Korean culture and arts.
